Process

This was a passion project I did when the Pixel 2 XL came out. I really wanted to create one of those sexy phone commercials I see, so I spent a weekend watching youtube tutorials on all things Cinema 4D. This is the result.

I taught myself how to model in Cinema 4D, and took an image of the Google Pixel 2XL. I followed the specs as close as possible until it felt as accurate as possible. I then created a scene with a white background and a fixed camera, and used the F-curve graph editor to animate the phone spinning and moving.
